More often than not we will use a water based cleaning system. There are a few fabrics that require dry-cleaned and of course we have dry cleaning equipment both portable and in the cleaning plant as well as approved solvents.

Very often the best results are obtained using low-moisture cleaning methods. Upholstery fabrics are quite different to carpets and so you wouldn’t expect us to clean your 3 piece suite as if it were an Axeminster or Wilton carpet. Among other things you will want us to make sure that the padding and cushioning are not overwet.

We understand that you will want us to provide an effective cleaning system suitable to your furniture fabric whatever it might be. We also know that you would appreciate our carrying out some simple tests to ensure there is no possibility of colour run or shrinkage. We will also air moving equipment to assist with the speed drying of you furniture to allow you to use it the same day we clean it.

There are other treatments which sometimes we are required to carry out including odour treatment or fireproofing but more than anything we would recommend that the treatment you really do need is the addition of a  stain protection.
